A capacity building training for association leaders on cooperative leadership and financial literacy has started the training will be cascaded for the next three days has been started in Batu, Oromia state university. The executive director on his opening remarks reminded the efforts that have been made by CDCB towards creating awareness and linking different stakeholders for the protection of Lake Dembel, and as a result of those efforts, the community association, comprising community leaders, the elderly, youths, and women, has been established in the last sessions of the previous project that has been implemented in the year 2019/2021. He added that the center has scaled up the initiation and its engagement to further support and capacitate the association, and today’s training marks the commitment that CDCB has towards environmental protection and wide local community lead engagements.
