The role of the young generation in the restoration of peace was discussed today in a workshop organized by the Center for Development and Governance (CDG) held at Elilly International Hotel today (August 16, 2025). Participants of the discussion are the youth active in the Social Media coverage with their own preferences having accounts for the type of media outlet and most of them already engaged in the advocacy activities organized by the CDG.

A project status update and consultative meeting was held at the CDG office on July 12, 2025. The session, organized by the CDG, aimed to brief representatives of funding organization and government partners agencies. Mrs. Natalie Cooke-African program officer of the National Endowment for Democracy(NED) – along with representatives from relevant government sectors and CDG staff reviewed the project’s current progress.
