Project Closeout Workshop Held for “Strengthening and Scaling-up of Lake Dambal Conservation Project Through Converted Efforts of Local Actors”

A project closeout workshop held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia stakeholders from government structures, Centre for Development and Capacity Building Management, UNDP small grant program came together to review the final project, “Strengthening and Scaling-up of Lake Dambal Conservation Project Through Converted Efforts of Local Actors.”

Mr. Gedyon, the CDCB project coordinator, presented a concise overview of the project, highlighting its achievements over the course of its implementation. The project’s goals, objectives, and outcomes were all made available to the participants, and a thorough discussion was made.

 

The workshop provided a platform for stakeholders to share their feedback and suggestions on the strengths and weaknesses of the project. The event was productive, and all parties involved expressed their satisfaction with the project’s outcomes.

 

The workshop concluded with a vow to continue supporting local conservation efforts, particularly around Lake Dambal, which is a vital natural resource to the community.

The workshop’s success is a testament to the effectiveness of collaborative conservation efforts involving local actors.
